MY ENTRY FOR *POSESION*'S HALLOWEEN PHOTO CONTEST

For this contest, we are asked to use only the exclusive unisex poses from the *PosESion* Hallow set and to be Halloween-themed. I tried out the poses, and immediately when I saw this pose, Hallow 4, I knew it was the one I wanted to use, and, of course, immediately came to my mind a bat hanging upside down.

The Hallow set consists of eight various poses suitable for Halloween or other unique situations. I know I will be using these again in the future.

The photographs are to be placed on the *PosESion* Flickr contest site.  This is a "safe" group, and so I deliberated, and debated, and agonized over whether I should use this photo.  I did two photos, this one and one in a black bikini.  That bikini simply took away, encumbered, really, the artistic look of the setting, making it look.. well.. unnatural. So, I chose this one to enter into the contest.

Really, there are some great photographs in the contest, and I honestly don't expect to win, but I had a great time doing this. Usually, I am blogging for someone, and I don't take much artistic liberty when I blog, because I want to represent the merchandise as accurately as possible for the sponsors and the shoppers.

Here is the final result.

There is no clothing in this scene.  The only accessories are a single red rose and a black-and-red diadem.

ZANZE CARRIE GOWN AT BOSL INTERNATIONAL FASHION WEEK 2015

Today, I am going to share the Zanze Carrie Gown with you.

Those of you that know me know I love feathers, and this gown is a sumptuous, feathery, elegant design to win the heart of all feather lovers.  In addition, the gown is a unique creation all on its own, with the gathered skirt accented with sea green flowers. There is a matching flowered headpiece, as well, that highlights the entire ensemble with the utmost grace.

Next, you can see the intricate design of the bustle, which also is adorned with matching sea green flowers as a focal point.  The pattern of the lining in the gown is also interwoven with the feathers on the back-piece.

Here is a detailed close-up of the headpiece.  There is a great amount of work that has gone into this, as well as all of the gown, which makes it a stand-out in any crowd. It turned many heads for me, and it will for you, too.

I have long been a fan of Wicca's Wardrobe, and she continues her creative talent with this outfit. The top is Paige [Horror] combined with Furiosa Shorts [Horror], both sold separately, in case you want to purchase either one or the other. Also available for purchase are the face mask and original mesh armpieces.

The Paige top comes with an underbust chain and is combined with a mini-bolero jacket.  The Furioso shorts have two O-rings joined to the shorts with rivets, then joined by O-rings and rivets to leg harnesses.

The resizeable face mask, sold separately, is very artistically detailed in shading and highlighting, and in the cross-stitching over the mouth and leather inserts.

I did it My Way, but it's not my car! I am glad to have this lovely fall knit sweater and dress combo to keep me warm! The sweater is very stylish with a cross-over collar that leaves the front open so the dress can be seen.  The sleeves have several fold-overs that give it a unique style, with contrasting bands and cuffs that match the dress.

My Way also comes with lazer-cut leather shoes with teal ties that match the dress and accents of the sweater.

Even if I am comfortably warm, as well as fashionable, I hope someone comes soon!

PIZZAZZ BOSL FASHION 104 EXCLUSIVE AT BOSL INTERNATIONAL FASHION WEEK 2015

BOSL International Fashion Week is here, from October 24 to October 31, and Pizzazz has made an exclusive for the event inspired by Freddy Kruger, the Pizzazz 2015 BOSL Fashion Exclusive 104. This is a very chic outfit that comes with coat and boots.

The coat comes with one of my favorite features, the texture-change hud! You have four coat options to choose from, plus you also have four pocket options, as well as several belt (both waist and neck) color options that also include either silver or gold metals.

Here, you can see the hud:

I am not looking so Freddy-like in my choice of coat, but I certainly am an accessory to fall in this earthy and bold print. I have chosen the black belts with gold metal and, of course, the cream pockets. The picture does not truly capture the stunning beauty of this coat.

And, the Pizzazz Platform Steampunk boots? Buckles, and gears, and bees, oh my!  Just look at the exquisite detail in these fantastic boots! Even the stitching is an artwork.  I simply LOVE those bees adorning the front of the boots.

This is a must-have ensemble to keep you warm on those crisp fall days.

SOMETHING FROM HAWKER'S HOUSE

I am very fortunate to blog something from Hawker's House, where you can find high quality clothing and high quality men's clothing, as well.  I was doubly lucky because I could choose what I wanted to blog.

So, I chose this very cute top, the Penelope Peplum Top Animal. I love animal prints, and this is a very detailed and realistic one, which makes it a real delight to wear. I really like how this one-piece top tapers in to flatter the waist, then flares out into the little skirt. My boyfriend told me three different times in two hours how much he liked this outfit! So, ladies, you can be lucky in this top, too!

21ST PAZZO OCTOBER STYLE CHALLENGE, ZOMBIE COUTURE (SECOND PLACE)

This was another fun challenge, the zombie couture. I decided to go with a more traditional, grass-roots zombie style. There were some very good styles in this challenge, and I was very happy to get second place!

This look is another one that has many individual parts coming together to make a whole that is smooth.  The VoodooDonna Dress by Purplemoon is a very unique creation that I just had to have when I saw it.

Here, you can see better the Trapped Soul necklace by Pucca Firecaster Creations.  Of course, I love anything crows and feathers, so I especially like this necklace, particularly in context to zombie culture.  And, I like the lip stitches by Underground because they are not a tattoo layer and impart realism into the look.

And, an absolutely perfect nail polish for this look, the Zombie Rot by Dark Passions Coffin Nails. You also have a closer look of the Raven Skull Ring by BC Jewelry.  This is a man's ring which I resized down to fit my Slink finger.

MODEL'S WORKSHOP SEPTEMBER CHALLENGE WINNER (ANDROGYNY)

This was a very exciting challenge, the androgyny.  There is much androgyny in the gothic community, and I love the androgynous look.

The Steampunk Glasses Nocturnes by Pixel Box are very unique, cute, and stylish. The scorpion pin by Yoshi Bagley originally was a belly piercing, but I thought it went very well on my chest. And, of course, matching footwear always is important to a great ensemble, and these Python Ankle Boots by Mimikri couldn't be any better of a foot foundation.

CROW QUEEN

This was a most enjoyable styling, since, as many of you know, I am a gothic girl in first life.

This look was chosen as one of the winners of the ModeLS Magazine October issue horror styling challenge. This look and all the winners can be found here, as well as several other features and events.

This is a very detailed and complicated style, each individual piece lending a seamless contribution to the whole.

Madrid Solo is tops when it comes to avante garde makeup, and she did another excellent job here, with the Crows Feet, which actually is a male design, which of course, doesn't matter at all to me when it is such a fantastic contribution to this style.

ANCHORS AWAY

This look comes from the Model's Workshop August challenge, "Uniforms."  I supposed that most people would choose more "traditional" type uniforms.  However, school children can use uniforms, too.  Well, the school girl just isn't my preference, but ship captains wear uniforms, too, and that appealed to me.  I didn't win the challenge, but I had a great time styling the outfit and have a cute ensemble to wear, as well!

I adore this loose-fitting top with the really well-done gold anchor.  I also love the blue stars on the capri jeans.

Here you can see the nautical-themed necklace from Gizza.  It represents the sea while, at the same time, imparting a feminine charm to the meaning of sailing the high seas--or a casual Sunday in a row boat!

Next, you have a closer look at the Gizza matching charm bracelet.

Of course, one must have a matching nail polish to go with any theme, and I chose La Boheme's BulletGold.  Here, you can see the details of that:
