I WAS ACCEPTED!

Oh, my goodness! It is my lucky week! I was accepted into the Visionaire Institute photography class! Yaaayyy! lol

Classes start on Sunday, and we already have a homework assignment, which is to arrive at class as anything but human! Well, it might just as well start out difficult!  lol I can't wait to begin!

In the meantime, I thought I would do a bit of work on my favorite RAW shot that I used to apply to Visionaire. I really don't have the time, but I am going to do this, anyway.

The work was minimal and subtle, but I like the darker feel of the ocean and sky and the brighter intensity of the aurora.

ANCHORS AWAY

This look comes from the Model's Workshop August challenge, "Uniforms."  I supposed that most people would choose more "traditional" type uniforms.  However, school children can use uniforms, too.  Well, the school girl just isn't my preference, but ship captains wear uniforms, too, and that appealed to me.  I didn't win the challenge, but I had a great time styling the outfit and have a cute ensemble to wear, as well!

I adore this loose-fitting top with the really well-done gold anchor.  I also love the blue stars on the capri jeans.

Here you can see the nautical-themed necklace from Gizza.  It represents the sea while, at the same time, imparting a feminine charm to the meaning of sailing the high seas--or a casual Sunday in a row boat!

Of course, one must have a matching nail polish to go with any theme, and I chose La Boheme's BulletGold.  Here, you can see the details of that:

And, of course, a girl must have the perfect shoes to match a perfect outfit.  I found the best possible shoes, I think.  They are the Nautical Wedges, in bone, from Aurora.
