MISS VIRTUAL DIVA FACE OF FASHION APPLICATION

I am happy to participate in this year's Miss Virtual Diva Face of Fashion. The first stage of the process was the application, from which candidates would be chosen to move on to the second stage of the competition, the Live Audition.  For the application phase, we had to choose a couture dress from Virtual Diva store and create a black and white couture style and submit a photo of this styling.

I chose the Dejavu Gown Couture Bride Romance in white because I absolutely adore the unique style of the gown, with the exotic peplum that flows back and down into an impressive V-shaped tail. The style reminds me of the classic, elegant femme fatales of the old horror movies.

The extravagant, frilled collar frames my face beautifully, just like it would the lovely face of many long-ago dark ladies slinking through the night. I love sequins, and, if you look closely, you can see the bodice of this Dejavu gown is iced with them, and a sequin belt accentuates my waist perfectly.

Today, I present Ghostyss' Renata White lingerie. This comes with Omega applier. The top is quite sheer, tapering to a more opaque bottom piece.

I also have Ch's Liz heels for Maitreya, Belleza, and Slink. These come with a color-change HUD that has 30 different colors in it.

Lyrical B!zarre Templates has given us a mixed bag this month. You get a wonderful set of gem-change wings in both silver and gold metal, plus five different gems to choose from.

Virtual Diva has created yet another set of fantastic poses this month. The Glowing Angel set has ten poses, from flying to sitting, and is a quite complete set. Here, you can see me using the VD Glowing 1 pose.

IP Nails has created the Angel set of nails this time. These are compatible with Slink Classic nails as well as the new Slink Dynamic Bento hands, which I am wearing today. There also are appliers for Omega, Maitreya, and Vista Bento hands. Here are the Angel nails in more detail, plus all the colors in the appliers.

TAYREN'S FANTASY FASHIONS AT ALCHEMY

Tayren's Fantasy Fashions has created a very sweet outfit for this round of Alchemy, the Daisy Dress. I love pink, so that is the color I chose to share here, but the dress also comes in purple, blue, yellow, and green. It comes in the five standard sizes, and I am wearing the XS with my newly-acquired Maitreya Lara body.

This is a very complete package on offer. You get the delicate and intricate daisy chain hair wreath and belt, plus the matching shoes that fit Slink flat feet. You also get the Daisy Bobbed hair, which is a pageboy that is quite a lot longer in the front. This hair style also comes in blonde tintable with a blonde tintable hairbase. There are even some lacey little brief modesty panties that come with Omega applier, so I was instantly able to apply them to my Maitreya body!  And, last, but not least, even the flexi wings are included in this complete package!

STREETWEAR

Here is a streetwear look.

The top is a hoody from Infliction, the Destroy Hoodie. I got it in the Dirty Turkey Hunt last year. Yes, it really does have a hood!

The leather Cora Skirt is from Insanya. This skirt comes with a HUD. With this HUD, you can either show or hide the suspenders. I love the suspenders, so have not hidden them here. There are also two color options for the studded belt. There are ten options for the suspender style, including studded, camo, stars, and skulls. For this outfit, I have chosen the studded style to match the Spiked SnapBack cap from Forever Young. Here is what the Cora Skirt HUD looks like.

This Spiked SnapBack cap isn't just any ordinary cap! It comes with a HUD to change hat, brim, and bows colors, as well as an option for gold or silver spikes. There are five leopard print colors for the hat and brim, five camo colors for the hat and brim, and eight non-patterned colors, as well. There are eight solid colors to choose from for the bows. The HUD also has a resizer in it. Here is a look at the Spiked SnapBack HUD.

Both the Silver Studded Black Sneakers and the Eclipse Studs Black Bag are from United Colors. United Colors is a favorite store of mine because of the unique, quality designs that can be found there. You can't see the front of the purse in the above photo, so I am including a picture of it here.

The Leather Leg Bag from Rebellion is an SL Frees and Offers gift. It is a high quality leather belt bag made to be worn on the thigh. It has the winged skull symbol of the biker, and, even though I am not a biker, I like wings and I like skulls, so this still is a good combination for me. It is very handy for quickly slipping items into on the go.
