BURN2 WITH BYRNE BOUTIQUE CRACK IN TIME CORSET

I am a little late on sharing this, but here it is!

On October 22, 2016, The Edge Models and Stylists put on a fantastic show for the Burn2 event, in coincidence and honor of the actual Burning Man Festival which is held annually in the Black Rock Desert of Nevada, which is my home state. The theme for this year's Burn2 was "Da Vinci's Workshop." So, go ahead and think mechanical and steampunk!

The Edge's Da Vinci's Workshop show was a creative collaborative work of live art, with 23 stylists and models assembling spectacular outfits to enthrall the audience. Eleseren Brianna put her impressive creative writing talent to fantastic use and created a charming and endearing story for the show, with the premise that Leonardo had lost his inspiration and his muse would go searching to help him get it back. Along the way, she would encounter a myriad of possible inspirations.

I was very honored to be chosen to receive one of Bryne Boutique's wonderful creations. Bryne is a favorite of mine already, and I was absolutely delighted with the Crack in Time Black mesh corset I was given to style creatively for the show.

Here is my style. The mechanical giraffe, the wolf, and the leopard walked with me in the show. Below, you will see my creative take on the of the outfit. This same photo will be presented in the Night Gallery show coming up later this month; more details to follow later on that!

Here is a better look at the Crack in Time corset, for all of those of you that just have to have it! Is that not just totally adorable?!

Here is a look at the corset's bow tie on the shoulder and the NSP Madame de Floria hat. I love the detail in this hat! Look at those feathers and flowers!

Today, I have quite a collection of exclusive items from the Swank Free Style round.

First, from Isa D'orable Creations, I have the Corcy Pocket Watch set for the ladies. This is a corset top and matching pants set. The mesh top fits classic avatars and Belleza, Slink, and Maitreya mesh bodies. The pants come in fits for classic, Belleza, Slink, and Maitreya with a clothing applier HUD. There is also a texture-change HUD for the corset top with four different color patterns.

I am using Glitter Poses GP Simple Girl 4 in all the photos. These are sweet, feminine poses.

I must point out that the adorable pocket watch in its cute little pocket is not drawn on but is, rather, an actual mesh watch in an actual mesh pocket.  This is a unique and clever touch that I simply love. The buttons and clasps on the corset also are mesh. You can see those in more detail here.

For the men, Brocade Tiger has another unique creation, the Earthweave suit. The suit jacket, suit shirt, and pants come in the five standard sizes. This suit also comes in a blue variation.

Here, you can better see the details of the jacket design and tie of the Earthweave suit, as well as the details on the Corky corset.

Alter has several items on offer this month, including some shoes you simply cannot live without. There are three color options for you to choose from--black, which I am wearing today, red, and silver. They are available for Slink, Belleza, and Maitreya feet.

I love Zuri Jewelery, and this month's offer is the stunning Serpo Collection, which includes necklace, earrings, and bracelet. Zuri also offers a version 2 of the bracelet and a matching ring. I am wearing the Alexandrite/Copper/Creme rendition of the set, but there are two other color combinations, as well--the Black Sage and the Olive/Gold. All are lovely. Clicking on the door opens it and you get a menu to resize your stove. The stove is copy-able, as well, so you can place one in different rooms around your home to keep you warm on those chilly nights.

I am wearing the very cute Blackrose Corset Set. This outfit comes with two pieces: a top that has pouffe sleeves and a high-waisted corset skirt. The skirt has a very nice addition in the fabric, which you can see below.  There are several color options that can be purchased separately. There is the Black set, which I am wearing, but there also are the Black/Ice (white), the Black/Pink, the Black/Red, the Black/Sky (blue), and the Leaf set, which is a yellow top with brown skirt. The sets come in the standard five sizes.

Stebi is wearing Rebellion's Revenant jacket. This very finely-crafted jacket comes with a HUD to change both the leather color as well as the shirt design. There are six leather colors and eight shirt options, including no shirt. The jacket comes in small, medium, and large, plus two fitmesh sizes.

Stebi's Urban Leather Pants come from the Romano Collection. There are six different color options to choose from, ranging from black to greys to browns that can be bought separately. Stebi is wearing the brown edition. These unusual pants are available in the standard five sizes, but also come in Slink, Adam, Aesthetic, and TMP.

And, here is that adorable addition to the skirt material I mentioned earlier. I fell in love with this the moment I saw it! I love corsets, anyway, but when I saw that sweet fabric, I was not going anywhere!

Here are the backs of those very nice Revenant jacket and Urban Leather Pants. You can see the detailed work that has gone into the fleur-de-lis pattern on the jacket back and into the studs on the pants pockets.

I am wearing the Veritas Silver Pendant in aquamarine from Vintage Touch. This necklace also is availabe in amethyst, emerald, diamond, ruby, and sardonyx. Vintage Touch is offering a gift this month, the Blue Abalone Ring.

Here, you can see the very skilled detail in the Revenant jacket, including a fleur-de-lis on the upper arm.

Stebi is wearing the Boldt Koren men's necklace from Luminesse.

Circa Living has much to offer shoppers this month. There are the Cafe Volo sets, Tall Table & Stool Sets that are available in nine different color combinations for the table and two chairs. Circa Living also is offering many different neon and chalk signs. The style can be used for either a coffee house or bar setup (or both.)

Each Cafe Volo tall table and stools set has many café quality animations for drinking, eating, chatting, reading, listening to music, including stands and various sits for both male and female. Each stool seat has 16-plus animations and each table has 15 stand animations. In addition, there are automatically rezzing props to go with the animations. And, each table set comes with a floral and shakers centerpiece.

Stebi and I are using the Cafe Volo Cherry/Dk Cocoa set with the Red centerpiece. On the wall directly behind us is the Cafe Volo Neon Coffee Sign. This sign does not have any texture-change options, but the Hot Coffee Cup and Premium Coffee cup signs do have seven texture-change wood colors: teak, hazelnut, hazelnut2, cocoa, cherry, black, and silver. These two signs are just two options from the many Coffee and Cocktail signs available.

AT SWANK: BYRNE, MOONDANCE BOUTIQUE, Q-ESSENTIALS

Today, I have new and exclusive designs for Swank.

I will start with Bryne's Noke outfit, a corset top and low-rise asymmetrical skirt that come in the five standard sizes of rigged mesh, materials enabled, and can be purchased in gold, silver, rose, and teal, or as a fatpack. All the colors come in the marble design, like you can see below in gold. Also, each set comes with a necklace.

That lovely Around the World desk comes from Q-Essentials and so does the Around the World map. Now, I really feel like travelling, after seeing this cute suitcase-inspired desk!

Moondance has the Anai jewelry collection to offer. This set comes with necklace, three earring styles, two bracelets, two rings, and a bindi. As always, there are many texture-change options available, as well as the option to change or resize one or all of the pieces at the same time. I have chosen gold metal, black pearls, and quartz stones. All the pieces can be purchased individually or as a complete set, which is the way I suggest.

AT SWANK: PURPLEMOON, CH'S, CHOP ZUEY, LUNA BODY ART, POSESION

Today, several more exciting creations from Swank designers!

First, the Purplemoon Lucky Dress St. Patrick's Edition. This lovely gold and green silk corset-dress is perfect for the holiday. The dress comes in the five standard sizes and a fitmesh, as well. The outfit comes with the hat, and the shamrock on the bodice is optional if you should choose not to wear it. I think it is so cute, and matches the shamrock on the hat so well, that it must be worn!

Here, you can see the full length of the dress. The pose is from Posesion, Teressa 1, from the exclusive Teressa set.

Again, Teressa 1, and you can see the back of the Lucky Dress and greater corset detail. Take note of the necklace back, earring, bracelet, and ring. Those are from Chop Zuey, and there will be more about those soon.

Now, for a closeup look at the adorable hat that comes with the Lucky Dress and the shamrock that matches the bodice piece.

Also, Chop Zuey is presenting a stunning pearl set this month called Fair Olivia Set White. Chop Zuey's Belle Roussel is a master artisan, and you can see that in the fine detail work that has gone into this beautiful set. The smaller pearls surrounding the larger ones are highly pearlescent. The Fair Olivia set comes with necklace, earrings, and bracelet.

Luna Body Art has given us a Slink nail polish set called Cool Spring. One of the polish options is the green and white, which is perfectly matched with the Lucky Dress and Fair Olivia set. Together, they all make a very striking presentation.

You can see the fine details of the Fair Olivia earring and necklace pieces here. Chop Zuey gives as much attention to the details of the backs of the pieces as to the fronts. The lovely diamond pendant of the clasp imparts a very elegant air to the necklace.

Here is the Fair Olivia ring, with twin bands, and this is Chop Zuey's wonderful gift at Swank this month. You can see the detail work that has gone into the ring and bracelet, and that work is prominent throughout the complete Fair Olivia Set, just as it is in all the work that comes from Chop Zuey.

Next, I present Ch's Jaina v2 leather boots. These boots come in Freya, Isis, Maitreya, Physique, Venus, and fitmesh, which I am wearing. They come with a texture-change HUD, too, with twenty, yes twenty, color options!

The theme for Swank this month is Luck of the Irish, naturally enough, and you can find exclusive designs from nearly 100 designers for fashion, beauty, home and garden, and even something for children. Everything is 300 lindens or less. Many of the designers also have placed gifts for the shoppers, as well, and there is a special treat this month: GACHAS! I will not admit to being a gacha addict or anything like that, of course.
