SECOND LIFE'S VISIONAIRE INSTITUTE FOR PHOTOGRAPHY

In Second Life, I shop sometimes, when I have the time. As a shopper, if the vendor photos are not clear and do not easily show what the products are, I never buy if there is not also a demo to try. My motto is, "No try, no buy," and I say it as I pass on by.

In Second Life, I blog sometimes. As a blogger, I do not want to present the shoppers with photos that are not clear and do not easily show what the products are so they will not pass on by. Therefore, my blog photos are simple and clear, with very little creativity involved.

However, I also wanted to be able to take really nice, creative photos, as well. I had basically no knowledge of Firestorm's photography tools, and, not having a lot of spare time, I didn't want to stumble around trying to piece together all the information . Several friends had spoken about Visionaire Institute, and it seemed very interesting to me. I thought that would be a source of concisely gathered information that would be given to me at my fingertips.

I knew a new session was going to be starting soon, so I decided to apply. I thought the application process was a simple apply and be accepted procedure. But, that was not the case. Applicants had to submit qualifying photos before being accepted. I worried that I would not be accepted, but, fortunately, I was, and my journey began.

Now, the journey has ended, and I recently graduated from Visionaire Institute.

Here, I would like to present the photos that I displayed for graduation. The theme was "Hide and Seek."

I entered the ModeLS Magazine challenge for the June issue, which was Avant Latex. While I was composing my photo, I kept in mind the Visionaire graduation theme, "Hide and Seek," so I could fulfill two obligations at once. It was a successful action, because the photo was chosen as one of the winners of the Avant Latex June challenge.

AT SWANK: PREY, CHOP ZUEY, OCTOBER'S 4 SEASONS

Prey has made another outstanding design for the May round of Swank, the Cleopatra Dress. This dress is very reminiscent of golden days long gone, brought to life now for the wearer to shine in this unique creation. The dress comes with a gold upper body wrap, a gold fringe that fits nicely over the skirt of the dress, and a choice of two lovely feather attachments for the skirt. I am wearing Feather Skirt 1. These pieces can be worn in many combinations. The dress comes in the five standard sizes.

To make this dress truly outstanding, and matching it impeccably, is Chop Zuey's exclusive BellaTrix jewelry set, which comes with earrings, choker necklace, two bracelets, and a flower ring, all in rutilated quartz cabochons and diamonds set in gold.

Also serving as a wonderful compliment to the Cleopatra Dress and BellaTrix jewelry are the colorful makeups presented by October's 4 Seasons debut appearance. I am wearing the Marley eyeshadow, and the Flossy Eyeshadow Gems on my eyebrows, both from the Flossy Eyeshadow Collection v2 set, and the Noble Cream lipstick from the Noble Lipstick Collection.

Going back to Chop Zuey's fantastic jewelry set, there is a wonderful BellaTrix HUD that comes with the set. This HUD allows the wearer to choose from among sixteen cabochons, as well as a resizer. Here, you can see the different stones to choose from. In this case, a picture is not worth a thousand words, because the gems are far more beautiful when being worn.

As we know, Chop Zuey is very generous in the gift department, and this month at Swank is no different. The gift this month is a wonderful ring called Roar Lion Ring. This lovely ring has a lion wrapped around the finger, with diamonds for eyes and all around the band of the ring. This is a unisex ring and can be worn by both men and women. Here is that ring.

AT SWANK: PURPLEMOON, CH'S, CHOP ZUEY, LUNA BODY ART, POSESION

Today, several more exciting creations from Swank designers!

First, the Purplemoon Lucky Dress St. Patrick's Edition. This lovely gold and green silk corset-dress is perfect for the holiday. The dress comes in the five standard sizes and a fitmesh, as well. The outfit comes with the hat, and the shamrock on the bodice is optional if you should choose not to wear it. I think it is so cute, and matches the shamrock on the hat so well, that it must be worn!

Here, you can see the full length of the dress. The pose is from Posesion, Teressa 1, from the exclusive Teressa set.

Again, Teressa 1, and you can see the back of the Lucky Dress and greater corset detail. Take note of the necklace back, earring, bracelet, and ring. Those are from Chop Zuey, and there will be more about those soon.

Now, for a closeup look at the adorable hat that comes with the Lucky Dress and the shamrock that matches the bodice piece.

Also, Chop Zuey is presenting a stunning pearl set this month called Fair Olivia Set White. Chop Zuey's Belle Roussel is a master artisan, and you can see that in the fine detail work that has gone into this beautiful set. The smaller pearls surrounding the larger ones are highly pearlescent. The Fair Olivia set comes with necklace, earrings, and bracelet.

Luna Body Art has given us a Slink nail polish set called Cool Spring. One of the polish options is the green and white, which is perfectly matched with the Lucky Dress and Fair Olivia set. Together, they all make a very striking presentation.

You can see the fine details of the Fair Olivia earring and necklace pieces here. Chop Zuey gives as much attention to the details of the backs of the pieces as to the fronts. The lovely diamond pendant of the clasp imparts a very elegant air to the necklace.

Here is the Fair Olivia ring, with twin bands, and this is Chop Zuey's wonderful gift at Swank this month. You can see the detail work that has gone into the ring and bracelet, and that work is prominent throughout the complete Fair Olivia Set, just as it is in all the work that comes from Chop Zuey.

Next, I present Ch's Jaina v2 leather boots. These boots come in Freya, Isis, Maitreya, Physique, Venus, and fitmesh, which I am wearing. They come with a texture-change HUD, too, with twenty, yes twenty, color options!

I love glitter, and I love unique, and this Deche Pelagic Gold gown gives me both, in abundance! The scallop design and slit on the side of the leg give this gown an extra dash of flash. There is an optional back piece, as well, which I have chosen to wear for the shoppers to see. This back piece gives even more flair to this exciting gown. Immediately, when I saw this gown, I knew I had to have it!

This gown comes in silver, as well. However, the gold and silver are available only in the fat pack of gowns, which includes blue, green, orange, pink, and purple, with a convenient HUD to quickly change between these colors. The gown comes in fitmesh, Belleza, Maitreya, and Slink. I am wearing the fitmesh.

Stebi is wearing 69 Park Avenue's Luck of the Irish suit that comes in a subtle green and gold plaid. This suit comes with several options. It has a gold shirt, without tie and with tie, either to wear alone or with the jacket. This outfit also comes with dress shoes, which Stebi is wearing.

The suit pieces come in a variety of sizing, including standard, fitmesh, and for the Slink mesh male body.

The gown has a very intricate and elegant back, and you can see that here, along with that amazing back piece.

The very fantastical Rainbows and Legends Fountain comes from 3rd Eye Perceptions, a newcomer to Swank. Well, they certainly made a fine impression with their first offering. This fountain is gorgeous, not to mention very practical, with two color versions--light and dark, 14 single animations, rainbow water with sound, and resize by edit, as well as copy. Here, you can see this amazing design.

Once again, Zuri Jewelry has given us a stunning set, the Sari in Mocha/Emerald, which compliments this Pelagic gown to complete perfection. The Tikki Head Piece also comes in Emerald/Mocha, which has green pearls instead of mocha. The Mocha/Emerald pieces include the tiara, the head piece, the necklace, and the earrings. The bracelets come in Emerald/Mocha, with green pearls. All the pieces of this set can be bought separately.

Here, you can see my intricate ensemble of Mocha/Emerald pieces. Such an elegant and regal set from Zuri.

Zuri is well-known for finishing the backs of her pieces, and here you can see the backs of the earrings and the dangle on the clasp of the necklace.

This beautiful and unique gown called, oh-so-correctly, Audacity is a truly elegant and opulent creation. It stands out in the crowd, and you will two, with it gracing your lovely avatar. The gold trim flows evenly around the 4-tiered skirt, with a neat gold belt that ties into a large gold bow in the back.

Complimenting the dress is the Indulge Temptation Majestique Set 12 with red pendants in necklace and earrings inlaid with glittery snowflakes.
