FANTASY ANGEL ENTRY

There were 80 ladies that submitted entries for The Fantasy Angels. Only 40 were chosen to move on to the competition. I was not one of them. However, I want to share the ensemble I created for this competition. As is often the case with my stylings, much detail goes into the work.

This is the head shot I submitted. The butterflies are from Persefona. They actually are nose butterflies, but I made copies and carefully placed them on my hair and on the Choir of Angels Cheribum Halo, which was made by Souzou Eien and can be resized. The butterflies come with a resizer HUD.

The butterfly body jewelry by Feel that is worn on my arm and leg are not tattoos. They are actual prims that can be adjusted to fit the body. They come with a texture-change menu that can be used to change size and bright on and off. You can also independently change either of the butterflies, with the options of butterfly wing color and diamond color. There are white, pink, and blue options for the diamond, and for the wings, the color options are blue, pink, and violet.

The Sparkly Wand of Butterflies by Talevin is animated with little butterflies circling around the big butterfly. This is a very advanced wand, with quite a number of spells and settings.

You can also get a closer look at the Lazuri Royal Blush All in One Bracelet. The Royal Blush All in One set is a texture-change set that includes the necklace, which comes in two versions, one with the pendant and one without, the earrings, and a bracelet. All items are copy, so I simply copied the bracelet and attached it to my other arm so I could have a matching set of bracelets.

DESTINY STYLE ELSA YELLOW

I present to you the very elegant and stylish Elsa ensemble. I am showing you the Elsa Yellow, but it also comes in black. The belted fur jacket is perfect for the fall season. There are matching fur gloves to go along with the jacket. However, if you would prefer, there are Neroargento Glitter Bracelets that you can choose. These bracelets match the Pearl Necklace. Both have a brilliant glitter. To complete the outfit is the Yellow Black hat. This is a fantastic hat with a black and a yellow bow and black hat band.

I also am wearing the very finely crafted Seahorse Brown Pink Gold necklace and earring set from Luminesse. The seahorses of both the earrings and necklace are twisted metal. I will start with the Cindy vest from Baboom Couture.  This is the Vintage Peacock vest, a beautiful, sturdy leather vest with a gold zipper on the front right side and two zippered pockets on the left upper side, the lower pocket with a gold stud. On each lapel, there is a gold skull, and on the bottom sides, two studs with a rivet in the middle. My favorite feature of this vest is the peacock on the left lapel and on the back.

The furniture is from Outside the Box!  I especially like the tree-branch book shelf. Very clever and unique, this design. There are five female sits and two male sits in the chair.

The beautiful jewelry is from Indulge Temptation. This is a combination of pieces from the Hathor 6 and Hathor 9 sets.  The necklace is the Hathor Necklace 2 from the Hathor 6 collection, and the Hathor Earrings 3 are from Hathor 9 collection. First, let me present this stunning and fantastic dress from Dreamz Designz, the Tiffany. This holographic dress breathes with life as it shimmers and shines in endless glints with every subtle move you make. The upper part of the dress is crossed by a diagonal panel that is a solid color, while the rest of the top and the skirt are covered in asymmetrical patterns that remind me of giraffe spots.

Even more exciting, this dress comes with a texture-change hud that has eight combination options to choose from. I chose the grey panel with the more subdued blue patterns.

That unique Equino table is from TH. Such an unusual design, and I love the weathered wood color of it, with a hint of blue. It comes equipped with a shadow, as well.

The leather boots are from MY Shoes, the Jaina Boots.  I am wearing the fitmesh version, but there are several options to choose from. You have the Freya, Isis, Maitreya, Slink, and Venus options.  I chose the grey leather because they fit the dress so well.

Here is the texture-change hud for the boots, with an amazing ten colors to choose from. You can better see the leather texture here, as well.

The lovely jewelry set, Noel Blue Opal-Amethyst, is from Zuri Jewelry. Look at the incredible detail in this skillful design. Stunning work that gives a stunning look to captivate every eye as one walks into a room.

Here, you can get a better idea of the intricate detail that goes into every piece of the set. There is the silver bow on the clasp, and even the backs of the earrings are designs complete unto themselves. Truly incredible work.

My Autumn nails are from Luna Body Art. I chose the grey base with silver flowers to match the Tiffany dress.

AFI Designs is at Swank, and here is one of their presentations, the Flighter Dark outfit.  This outfit is designed for action! There is a crossed-guns emblem on the shoulder, a silver skull at the hip, and another, red skull with chevron at the right knee.  This design also comes in Khaki, which has different accent color and design.

The back is designed for easy movement during those especially close moments, with the cutouts and laces.

Here, you can see the details of the Indulge Temptation Spider Rain Necklace 3 and the Neela Antique Dark earring from Semi Precious.

The Spider Rain Necklace 3 comes with a texture-change hud that has ten metal options and twenty-four gem color options for both the spiders and for the other decorative gems woven into the necklace. It also allows for resizing.

The Neela Antique Dark has little red balls inside metal cubes. The Neela earrings also come in Gold Light, which have lilac balls inside the cubes.

AT SWANK: DESTINY STYLE, VIRTUAL DIVA, INCENDIA OUTDOORS

Today, I have for you several items from three top designers: A clothing ensemble from Destiny Style, hair and poses from Virtual Diva, and a neat little birdhouse from Incendia Outdoors.

First is a lovely jacket and skirt ensemble from Destiny Style, the "September Morning" Rose. The jacket and skirt are separate pieces, so you can get even more use from the two if you care to mix and match with other pieces in your wardrobe. The palette is warm and welcoming. The sleeves and jacket back are a mauve knit, as well as the back panel of the skirt. The front panel of the skirt and the asymmetrical front jacket panel are made of watercolored leaves mixed with more defined leaf prints. Very smart, this outfit.

The pose is from Virtual Diva and is called VD Fall8.

Here, you can see the jacket and skirt set more clearly. Note the leaves on the sleeve cuffs.

This pose also is from Virtual Diva, the VD Fall10.

The "September Morning" Rose ensemble also comes with a gold, chain-link necklace and bracelet with a nicely engraved plate that proclaims, "Love Me."  Below, you can see a closeup of the necklace.

The adorable page boy is by Virtual Diva.  The cut is shorter in the back, tapering to longer in the front.  You get eleven colors to choose from, so you can be very versatile. I chose the Rouge because it matches the colors of the "September Morning" Rose so well.

Here, you can see the bracelet in more detail, as well as the watercolored  pattern on the jacket bottom and the knit leaf skirt front.

Here is a detailed closeup of the clasp on the right side of the jacket.

This set even comes with the boots! There is an inside zipper on each boot. You definitely get a lot for your money with this purchase!

The adorable birdhouse in the scenes is from Incendia Outdoors. It fits perfectly into my landscaping. It is lushly entwined with much ivy. The dirt at the bottom of the birdhouse is texture-change! There are five options: Light Dirt, Medium Dirt, Dark Dirt, Sparkle Sand, and Dirty Sand. I have chosen Light Dirt for my birdhouse. Here is a closer look at the houses, already occupied by some little friends.

AZOURY BOOHOO HAT AT THE CHAPTER FOUR

As I described in an earlier blog, Azoury does not have a Second Life Group, but does have an internet newsletter for people to register for.  Once you sign up for the newsletter, you are eligible to win items that will be offered at upcoming Second Life events.

Azoury was very kind and generous and gave two gifts to the registered winners (2) for November. I was delighted to also get, in addition to the sorrow hood, the Boohoo Hat, an adorable ruffled top hat. I got the full set, which includes the Black&Yellow, the Blue&Red, the Brown&White, and the White&Black. I am going to show off the Black&Yellow for you today.

The lace ruffle extends across the front of the hat and halfway across each side. There is much intricate bead-work on the front of the hat and detailed stitching that surrounds the entire crown of the hat. This is a whimsical little confection that will enhance any wardrobe!

The Boohoo hat is being offered at The Chapter Four event, which is now open and runs until November 20.

Today, I have another wonderful jewelry set from Moondance Boutique, the Chloe set.  This is, indeed, a set.  It includes necklace, earrings, two rings, and three bracelet styles--for both wrists--to be worn in any combination that suits one's mood. AIM AGENCY TRICK 'R TREAT HALLOWEEN HORROR SHOW

This show ran Saturday and Sunday, October 31 and November 1, 2015.  Boniefacio did an excellent job on the design and the show was excellent. Many people went through several times. I am thrilled to have been a part of this spectacular production

I also was absolutely delighted when I received the very kind and generous donation from Virtual Diva Couture, Dark Queen, an exclusive for the show and available until November 6 at The Instruments.  The first thing I thought was, "This is perfect for me!"  I instantly fell in love with the outfit, which I think is the perfect representation of an avant garde vampire.

Here you can see the outfit, in the set of the horror show, as I beckon travelers to come into my arms forever.

Here, you can see the intricate and skillful design of the flowered chest piece and branches of the adornments. I am amazed at the detailed work that went into this.

MY ENTRY FOR *POSESION*'S HALLOWEEN PHOTO CONTEST

For this contest, we are asked to use only the exclusive unisex poses from the *PosESion* Hallow set and to be Halloween-themed. I tried out the poses, and immediately when I saw this pose, Hallow 4, I knew it was the one I wanted to use, and, of course, immediately came to my mind a bat hanging upside down.

The Hallow set consists of eight various poses suitable for Halloween or other unique situations. I know I will be using these again in the future.

The photographs are to be placed on the *PosESion* Flickr contest site.  This is a "safe" group, and so I deliberated, and debated, and agonized over whether I should use this photo.  I did two photos, this one and one in a black bikini.  That bikini simply took away, encumbered, really, the artistic look of the setting, making it look.. well.. unnatural. So, I chose this one to enter into the contest.

Really, there are some great photographs in the contest, and I honestly don't expect to win, but I had a great time doing this. Usually, I am blogging for someone, and I don't take much artistic liberty when I blog, because I want to represent the merchandise as accurately as possible for the sponsors and the shoppers.

Here is the final result.

There is no clothing in this scene.  The only accessories are a single red rose and a black-and-red diadem.
